Wanted - cheap brakeset
I'm building a very basic hardtail for my daughter and am after an el cheapo brake set for it. Will probably end up going for one of the 40 quid clarks sets as they seem to work OK on mine, but thought I'd check here first in case anyone has any shed clutter they're looking to offload.

Thanks, pm replied to. Should have been more specific in my post that I'm after a hydraulic set.

I've got a pair of Shimano you're welcome to for the price of postage BUT I can't recall whether or not they'd developed the Shimano 'micro leak' problem. If they have, the easiest (only?) cure is new calipers.
May the bridges you burn light your way

Thanks Norm, I'll drop you a line!
Re: Wanted - cheap brakeset
And if Stu's brakes have a micro leak problem, I have a set of XT brakes that has 1 good caliper and 1 with a leak, so you should be able to make 1 good set out of 2 bad sets.
Yours for postage or hand over at the BB200.

Thanks all and sorry to appear ungrateful, but I found a really good deal on ebay which I snapped up. I'm a bit of a newbie with hydraulics and not hugely confident about swapping calipers etc. Thank you for the offers though - very much appreciated.
