SOLD!! Thorn Sterling (Rohloff) + extra forks & more!

Post by Max Effort » Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:06 pm

For full details of this bike, including sizes, please follow the link below:

http://www.sjscycles.com/thornpdf/Thorn ... _hires.pdf

If the link doesn’t work, just copy and paste it into your web browser.

The frame size is 590 medium/large.

This bike has hardly been used and is in excellent condition.

The only noticeable sign of use is some of the paint has come off the bottom of the pannier rack (see photo). Nothing at all on the bike. That powder coat is pretty bomb proof!

I’ve just chainged theRohloff oil too, so nothing to do for another year!

Apart from the legendary Thorn frame and Rohloff hub, the other highlights include:

Rigida Bull disc rims, Shimano XT front hub, Continental Travel Contact tyres, Shimano Deore hydraulic brakes, Thorn saddle and seat post, Thorn crankset & Thorn comfort bars with ESI grips.

I have just fitted a brand new pair of Exotic Carbon Fibre rigid forks but I will also include the Magura Menja suspension forks (air suspension with remote lock-out), as part of this auction.

Also included is a pair of custom-fitted, full-length SKS mudguards and a Topeak Super Tourist DX rear pannier rack.

Take this opportunity to get yourself a truly world class bike, in excellent condition at a bargain price!

Only £1300 OVNO

Any questions please ask.

A beautiful bike, I wish it was in my size as I would love one of these but sadly we no longer make them, if you have not already done it you might want to post this in the Thorn forums http://www.thorncyclesforum.co.uk/ as there are collectors out there.

Brilliant news, remind him to update the Rohloff registration, so many people forget :)
