A pub

Forecast is looking mixed at the moment so advice would be to bring something you're confident with.

Have just managed to box off a child minder for our kids, as my missus is on her Xmas doo!
Is anyone going from the Leeds area that I could share the fuel with?
If not can get train, just means very early start to the day!
See you all then.
Adam.

If you can get yourself to Halifax for 9ish you can have a lift
Don't know if that's better or worse :???:

Oh yes Chew,
Can get to Halifax Station at 08.54am Saturday. That will save me 1 hour in the morning and nearly 4 hours ont' train!
Cheers fella!
Definitely buy you a beer in the mystery pub.

I'll see you at the station.

In other news.......Should pass a cafe on Sunday morning, so no need to bring breakfast*

I'm looking at the weather forecast, and it's looking like it's unlikely to get colder than 5°C during the night in the area south west of Ambleside.

How high are we going? I'm considering leaving the sleeping bag at home and just taking the quilt, but altitude or an exposed spot might make me reconsider that plan…

The spot I have in mind is enclosed by trees so there will be a reasonable amount of natural protection.

Normal 3 season setup will be plenty

All packed and gone with the quilt 150 off the back of the forecasts!!! Do have full merino base layers and a down jacket option, So hoping I'll be OK.
We shall see..... bring it on!
