Righto, spur of the moment bivvy

Post by Nick »

Just packing for a midnight raid on the Long Mynd (35 miles away) via some nice bits of Shropshire, might not get all the way there, might go somewhere else, might take some pics.

Well we didn't go to the Long Mynd but nice 50 mile loop was done. Probably the nicest conditions for bivvying I've ever experienced, warm with almost no dew this morning.

Didn't take many pics, but here's the evidence that we got out.

Bivvy spot was a bit cheeky, especially as we had been offered a corner of a field next to the pub we had a "couple" of pints in (why do they stay open so late, don't they know we have no will power??) but was in the Crewgreen area.

Nice ride back via the Severn way into Shrewsbury.

Got to have cake, my wife's banana muffins will be fuelling our BB200 adventure too.
