Haha, I think so. The Dutch guy I started with certainly did not. It's worse at the moment, though I saw a white tailed eagle there recently, so well worth the scrabbling.

Well Alex must have sorted his brakes as he only stopped for a brief snooze in the Kinlochewe toilets and then the Dornie toilets  He's dropped the two French guys as a result! If he keeps thi up he should get in under 4 days all being well

And one Alexandre Antrope appears to have done last years route into Fisherfield as far as the ruined cottage above Strath an Nid and then turned back....Nice to see the spirit of HT muppetry is still alive and well

Looks like he's a Scratch now

Given previous pace, are we thinking Angus and Huw have passed FA yet?

Annie posted on Instagram earlier to say Huw was at Fort A at 10am and that Angus was not that far behind

and looks like Pete Mcneil could have possibly rode with someone headed along Loch Oich from 10:20 for about 40 minutes before heading back north as part of the filming he's doing.

Huw was quite a bit quicker than him through the techy bits and I think he has slept a bit more. Good on him as hes had two scratches in his last two goes at this

So that would be under 3 days 12 hours and not far off the Neil B’s 2017 time.
Good effort

Shame their dots weren't working properly as they were within a couple of hours of each other when Pete Mcneil saw them

no idea!

from DotWatcher..

"Also in the cloak of night, Simon Guignard rode through, passing Alexander Berry, and finished the HT in second place at 5:46 this morning 3d 21h 45m or thereabouts. Congratulations Simon. Tres bien. And JUST IN are riders Alexander Berry and Jean Roglet who squeezed in ten minutes under 4 days, arriving together <3."

Stunning achievement from Alex [ and Huw] but he is going to be annoyed with the light costing him second place

Chapeau to them all though and those still riding
