I've not plotted it but if we do 20 miles, we'll have done fairly well I reckon

Just wondering if there's any chance of a bit more of a Fonzie style 'yay' perhaps.

Well that was interesting.

I searched for a better yay, and 'Yaaaaaaay' by Sweeneyfrod came up. Probably more one for Techno than perhaps Reg I feel  .

Yeah, yay, I'm in

A no from me I'm afraid - was "reminded" by the Mrs that we are staying overnight after my lad's graduation in Exeter - I'm sure it's the first I've heard of it!

Ha, problem solved, thanks to Hermione (yet more proof that dogs are the answer to all of life's problems): She got hold of the map while I was out, so now the whole map is crumpled up except for one flat bit which is the car park

Glass half full: at the least the fords will wash all the bog gunge off your bikes :-bd .

It does look quite aqueous over there at the moment.

Not going to be able to make this.

Still can't even do a recovery ride (since this latest bout of COVID) without my heart rate hitting over 150bpm. Welsh hills would not be the smartest idea.

Hopefully things will have worked themselves out for the January event. :(

Apologies to all. We were flooded last night, so preventing it from happening again now takes priority over anything else which means I'll be digging holes and not riding bikes this weekend.

I'll email everyone later with a copy of the proposed route and a potential overnight spot. Very sorry, it's been something of an interesting 10 days with no electricity, then no water, then wind damage and now a flooded downstairs :-bd

I was holding off confirming if I could make it. I have just had my pass revoked and been told 'If it was [near like] the Peak District' Also adding Youre a daft old bugger, can't you just do a spring one? '
With lack of power and stuff in the area or on the journey, I don't want to put upon any one, fuel price hike & job I need to finish, weather not helping...
so
Are any on thinking of doing a Northern England meet up [at some point. ]
... . Or a Spring meet up?
?
I hope you think you know, what I might of exactly meant.

I'm afraid I'm out as well....we've come over all covid/ Omicron cautious here, and I get the impression now that there is a high risk now of this weekend involving much pub and cafe attendance, which normally I would say is marvellous and right up my street, but alas, need to be careful with Mr Z being quite high risk, and actually already not feeling well ATM....so I'll be flying solo for this one...
Have a great one anyway

Bad new, if I was coming down, of course I'd offer my assistance. I also bring a grafter shovel. but alas I will not be down. I hope it all goes, err... swimmingly,
..... well you know what I mean.

Hope it's going OK out there people. Which particular bog are we up to our waists in at the moment?

There's always the Triangle to recover in
