Scotland midsummer Bivvy

Post by fatbikephil »

I'm thinking June 19th/20th for a bike ride / bivvy / bike ride. Nay overnight riding but scope to sit out and watch the sun go down from the comfort of your tarp (rain / midges permitting).
Venue-wise hows about Glen Almond in Perthshire (NN 75324 33514 or thereby) if its looking half decent? Or got some woodland spots further north or south if it aint. Or if anyone has a good suggestion elsewhere shout out.

I should be good for this Phil. The weather's surely got to have improved by then!

I would be keen to try and make it up for this, but trips on the weekends before and after mean I'd probably be over-stretching myself. Shame - would be good to see you again. Another time.
