Just a heads up to tell you all this years event will be held on the 26th of June

Tickets for the event will be opened up on the 1st June (restrictions allowing)

Hope to see some new faces everyone who entered last year has had an email.

I'd fill in for you Ton, but also in for the M100. See you there hopefully.

I was in for both last year, and would love to do both again, but since I was due to ride the Moors100 with friends, some of whom I haven't seen since the before the pandemic, so I'm going to do that. Sorry Rich. Glad the entry fees from last year went to a good cause though.

I think conflicting dates is something we'll just need to accept for the remainder of the year as everyone looks for a gap that might not exist. I'm sure (hoping) next year will see things are back to normal.

The three events I was looking forward to last year were WRT, jennride and the moors 100. I've not done the latter two before. They're the social bikepacking events of the year and so it was disappointing that they were cancelled last year, more disappointing that two of those three are on the same weekend this year. Nevermind, that's the way it goes, this year is going to be full of clashes as lots of events are squeezed into a smaller number of weekends. I'd seen another weekend thing that looked good but it's on the same weekend as the Goodwood FOS so another clash, boo

Agree, this year is going to be full of these dilemmas (or trilemmas - hadn't realise the WRT was the same weekend  ) but obviously grateful we've got these dilemmas rather than should I walk round the local park clockwise, or anticlockwise?

I've read benp1's post for a third time now and finally seen the words "two of those"...

When is the WRT, if there will be one? Sorry, it's probably been discussed but I've already lost track of anything that might be happening this year. (I stuck the 2020 wall planner up on last January, and there it has remained, with the latter 3/4s empty save for things that were cancelled, and haven't got one for 2021 yet  )

When is the WRT
Don't know yet Dave. Unlike England, we have no 'road map' of what may happen and when. It seems folly to stick a date on something until there's some kind of guidance available.

It seems folly
I thought this was the raison d'etre of the WRT?

Also signed up to this. Looks like I'll be spending a decent amount of time up North this year.

Going to go up a few days early and have a bit of a pootle around.

Eventbrite site says no. Don't know if he's doing reserves though.

Is this one of those rides that's the same each year? I've only done it the once.

Think the route differs each year, though there'll be overlap
