In fact I'm prepared to SELL you my slot Dave. Go on, make me an offer... Shelter/Wallich win either way  .

This is like standing outside a Toy Dolls gig and a tout comes up offering a wheelbarrow of fivers for your ticket! Would I sell.... hmm... I'm not sure... No. No, I wouldn't, that ticket is priceless...

Morning all. New here, but I've joined John on a few bivvies over the last couple of years.

He mentioned this thread a couple of weeks ago so here I am with a vague idea of what I'm letting myself in for.

Added

Do we have an 80 limit cut off like the Winter Events which fills up every year?

If anyone is unsure about GR and route planning, you may find this useful. There's a link to part 2 at the bottom.

Added, you're well inside the M25, it's going to be a very different experience for someone picking your GR's that close to London.

Should be fun though

Also please don't forget, you don't have to go to ALL or MANY of your GR's, rules are there to be broken and bent.

Also don't forget your bivi out on the Saturday night is allowed be in your back garden or your shed or garage "bothy". Or out and about if you chose to. Just don't go inside your house to sleep. We need photographic evidence of your night out and a GR or two in the how it went thread. :-bd

Technically, if we're being sticklers, Stu's "Emergency BaM Rules" would need to be reinstated for this to apply  .

Then again, as you say, Rules... hah.... .

Instigated by Stu as a "temporary wartime measure" in March and stood down on 1st Sept

viewtopic.php?f=10&t=16690#p209882

I guess Stu could have reinstated them for these latest lockdowns but if he had then presumably he'd have to withdraw them again on Dec 4th (for England anyway, Wales is now "open" again of course, goodness knows about Scotland) so they wouldn't then be applicable in January unless we had ANOTHER lockdown....

In a nutshell they only apply during a lockdown :ugeek: .
