Thanks to the cafe reminder above the plan is now complete(ish)
After chatting to others in the group the final mileage is going to be around 110 miles
For anyone who's interested in joining in here's the profile of what's to be expected.

Re: WRT LHC 110 miler ride
Just 2 more weeks to go before we start heading to mid Wales.
Let's hope the weather is as good as it is today for the long weekend of riding.
Are there any others who want to join us who haven't said hello please can you let me know as I need to let a couple of places know a rough number on who will be arriving.
Looks like there may be 25 of us.

If you've potentially got 25 then you've probably got more than you need already John ... remember, the chances of getting food will be reduced the larger the group. Rural mid-Wales pubs aren't generally geared up to coping with large groups

25 - blimey, you could fill the whole pub John! I think you mentioned the chippy though, just hope it's not quite as eccentric as the Golden Sands .
'Arent generally geared up' - I remember rolling up at Corris Slaters Arms last WRT with the half-LHC (6/7 of us I think) in tow and half way through ordering with the bar lady the chefess came steaming out and refused to take the order as she was too stressed cooking for 3 others or something. I think it was Taylor and Matt who took great mirth in our predicament (don't blame you guys, fair game ) and said they were pleased they'd ordered half an hour ago. Only to have the mirth wiped out as chefess steamed out again and cancelled their order too!! We had to proceed all the way to blasted Abergynolwyn starving hungry, luckily I remembered the Railway Inn did food so all's well that ended well. All part of the fun of WRT of course!

Re: WRT LHC 110 miler ride
That I remember very well reg , drunk a couple of pints and then told got a 2 1/2 hour ride to get food ,not getting food is possibly one of the very few things when I stop smiling, hence tables booked for both nights this year ,me being hangry is one thing but junior being hangry is a totally different concept
Re: WRT LHC 110 miler ride
We rode onto the cross fox after being cancelled. Bloody long way when you're starving

Re: WRT LHC 110 miler ride
Wouldn't have minded Taylor ,but with the weather whst was in it last year ,I had a slight thirst ,so a couple of pints were drunk at the bar while ordering food and then just sat down in the kerb with another when order got cancelled ,it seemed like the longest ride for food EVER ,but to be fair to reg ,it was some food when we got there ,run by a basil faulty type bloke

Re: WRT LHC 110 miler ride
'longest ride ever' - that's because by that time we were already incapable of riding in a straight line so the actual distance was ten times longer than the crow flew .

I've warned the first night pub, the Sunday night shop, and the first of the two Sunday morning cafe's to expect 25 of us.

Never before has the WRT seen such high levels of planning and preperation ... I knew you were the man for the job.I've warned the first night pub, the Sunday night shop, and the first of the two Sunday morning cafe's to expect 25 of us.

There’s hope the entire route might (a) exist on the ground, not just the map, and (b) be rideable.
For all other eventualities there’s the promise of cake at the end of the rainbow.
Promises to be quite a good laugh.

Anyone who has downloaded the route please note that Day 3 has had a route change to give a long downhill finish after a 2nd breakfast

a rough count is around 22 of us and the places we are going to can cope (I've checked)
Can you get down late on Friday night?
If so head to bivi out from your car at The Star Inn at Dylife.
Aim to roll into Bear Bones towers before 11am for 2 hours of faffing, eating cake, talking rubbish and not winning any prizes (or at least Stuart fixes teh raffle so I never win anything )
The off and under way around 1pm
Message me with your FB user name if you're on facebook and I can get you in your rubbish talking messenger group
