Just had confirmation that our offer for a top of the range 5m diameter Lotus-Belle tent complete with floor, double bed and furniture has been accepted. We've bought it from a neighbour who is moving house in the Summer, he doesn't need it any more and has sold it for 1/3 of what he paid for it 2 years ago. Means we can offer accommodation for up to 5 people, making the B&B more desirable for families.

For those who don't visit that other shouty place, they do occasionally talk about some gems. As a person of a certain age, I really like watching these 2 and they now have a website. https://www.mortimerandwhitehouse.co.uk/
There are a couple of recipes that I might try, especially as fresh tuna and sardines are cheap as chips here.

Will have a look at that, their TV fishing stuff is 'comfortable' viewing!

Were you hit by snow after?
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

Ohhh don't encourage me. Unbelievably I've only just twigged the significance of him being called Doc Cox when he was on "That's Life" on telly!!

Now here's a thought - one for Stu - Doc Cox would have made a superb double-act with the Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer 2011-2015   . Oh come on peeps, it's Friday!

My mum popped her clogs last August. Not cheery. But today we started clearing her house. Sooo much stuff. Why do women need so many shoes? 4 Zafiras full of clothes, some with labels still in. But, behind a wardrobe was an envelope with 50 £20 notes in it. Friday was pretty cheery after that.

Without wishing to make fun of the poor chap himself, you've got to wonder what effect a generous slice of Dee's Famous Lemon Drizzle Cake would have on him...

Just been sent this pic of one of the drag bikes we used to run. It was called 'Suspect Device' and painted to look like a parcel (bomb). It had real stamps on and everything. Mostly started life as a box of Z1 parts, I recall in this guise it was 1260cc but later was taken out to 1428cc. Takes me back

Does her outfit conform to EN13595/17092 do you think? Very irresponsible putting that on the front page.

Had numerous bikes featured in BSH and Streetfighters over the years but I recall, never one in AWOL.

Don't worry Reg, that is a special safety suit.

When my father started work as a postman back in the late 80's there was a safety poster in the sorting office about how to spot parcel bombs, some of the things were not obvious like,

Oily stains on the packaging - some explosives have a residue which can soak through to the outside
Badly written address - I guess if you're writing on a bomb you might have a shaky hand

But the poster also had on the list 'protruding wires' and 'ticking noises'

Someone had written at the bottom of list, Has Acme written on the outside and is addressed to Road Runner

Ahh BSH, that takes me back. A model of equality and respect
Always made me laugh when the blokes whose bikes were being featured generally included a picture of their other half (dressed appropriately...) kind of like readers wives with motorbikes....

It had both of those

They usually hired a model and a studio for the main feature bikes but yeah, there were plenty of submissions that did include readers wives. I always made a point of never attending studio shoots as it's very dull and the waste of a day but the lads would fight over who was going

The cleaning business owner developed the condition after being exposed to strong chemicals at work almost 20 years ago
Sadly he didn’t reveal which chemicals

Best safety poster I've seen was a photo of a pair of hands with the caption "Your 10 best tools, no spares in stock"
