Took my son to the cinema to see Everything Everywhere All at Once. Jamie Lee Curtis* (😍) doing Kung Fu, interesting use of sex toys in the fights scenes, profound wisdom, highly recommended.

There was a rove on this morning near Church Stretton but I was in two minds whether or not to attend. Anyway, I decided to and opted to take a 90lb bow. That was something of an odd choice given that (a) I'd usually shoot something around 65lb at such a shoot and (b) I still have ongoing RSI in my right arm / elbow (stop giggling at the back). Rather weirdly, my arm feels somewhat better :-bd

I thought rove was a typo for a rave and then thought it was a bit drastic to take a bow with you…

I don't know, I reckon I could amuse myself for hours at most raves, concerts or festivals

One of the best I've seen in a long time. After watching a YooTube video, they has JLC in a harness, on wires, mental.

I'm going early too....bike, wetsuit, trainers, tent and kitchen sink in the car ready for trip to Tenby tomorrow afternoon for Long Course Weekend.
Feeling mixture of excited and bricking it, but have enjoyed the carbing up part :-bd

Been dithering over ordering Mrs B an ebike for a week or so. Made the decision to do it today and their sale had started, so £300 off :-bd
£40 of that invested immediately on a sun kissed weekend of riding buff loamy singletrack (mostly downhill) in mid Wales in November.
One of these sentences appears almost to good to be true :???:

Good find - I enjoyed that

Been a funny old week with one thing and another. Weekend will be quiet with some gardening thrown in. I was feeling quite pleased that I knocked out 700 miles in June, before realising that certain people knocked out 2700 miles in June.....

Really happy today as one of our dogs took a massive dump that was bigger than she was.
She had a foreign object removed from her intestines on Monday and we were starting to worry that things weren't working properly.
I think I might get a display case and put it in there to show visitors.

The dump or the foreign object? Please tell us it'll be the latter.

Sorry Reg - It's the dump - It's that big, the other dog's dumps have gone into orbit around it.

Mate of Mrs Perrin paints old junk to look like canal boat artefacts. Flogs 'em at fetes and whatnot for charidee.

She gave a load of pots, jars, pans, and even a stool and hostess trolley to Mrs P to take on her behalf to the church fete. (Anyone even remember what a 'hostess trolley' is? Anyone got one? Anyone still use one?)

Anyway, Reg stupidly offered to take it all over there on the bike trailer, in several trips.

As I was loading up it struck me that here we had a tea trolley... and some pots... and a stool.... obviously a golden opportunity for a bike-hauled mobile cafe!

First (and only, to be fair) customer for a brew was our postie who happened to be passing.
