It certainly is. Woke up this morning to a newly released Skipinnish album on my phone (thanks Amazon).

Sent a pair of these to a friend for her birthday. Suspect it won't be an entirely welcome addition to her kids' vocabularies.

Most excellent sox :)

Cheery Friday indeed...sideways/upwards position moves at the new gig today...twice in two months i have been moved up to bigger and better things. At the expense of riding in the hills at my leisure. Tradeoffs. On the fun side of it, I work with lightweights...Guinness lays em out. Now where is my sharpie?

Oh...and to all you WRT folks...not jealous...not at fecking all. *deep sigh*
You lucky bastards.

Well nobody's been cheerful for ages. Got a number of things on the negative side of the Cheery Scales at mo so need to balance it a little. So two simple pleasures:

Really looking forward to the "3 Lions Tour" BaM tomorrow. Come on you last-minuters, it should be a good match.

Secondly, I can't believe I've only just found the Toy Dolls! Utterly bonkers but milords that Olga can't half thrash out some incendiary shards: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ActFW-rUYXM . Hilarious!

I can't believe you've only just discovered the Toy Dolls either. In penance, I think you should go and listen to some Macc Lads - can I suggest you start with 'Fluffy pup'.

On the cheery Fri theme, Dee wants some boots so we're popping out to visit the army surplus place in Aber' and I believe they have a selection of WWII Belguim bicycles with leather frame bags

Yeah you've pointed me at The Maccs a while ago - I'll go and have another dose I think. I can feel a gigpacking plan forming  . Right, just off to 'do the washing up' - that there Pup is quite insane.

A wet Friday afternoon in Aber - that's heaven right there  .

Didn't know whether to park this under Today's Ride / Close Wild Encounters / Cheery Friday, so I've gone for the latter since it's, er, Friday. The wild one is the heron not the panda. Then again...

Also, re The Macc Lads above, I've since found out they're playing Northampton in a couple of months, just up the line. Question is, are Reg's balls big enough to go for that gigpacking (C) opportunity. Stu reckons they are. And no I'm not posting a photo to aid that decision making process.

Still, I shall be heading to the hills tonight to get my 5th run in if the week :-bd

Apparently a physical trait of degenerating into senility Reg so it looks like you'll be able to get more and more gigpacking© challenges under your belt as the years go on...

Cheery Friday here - the sun's out and the nights start drawing in tomorrow
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

Definitely cheery here, although I’m not on the run to the sun (I only got home an hour ago after a 5AM start) the client at The studio sent a very nice email saying how happy they were, boss sent us both a £100 Amazon voucher as a thank you :-bd

Brought the family some bonus gifts and myself a new front tyre to replace the one I slashed in Spain, the super glue wasn’t going to hold forever

Went out with a couple of pals to see how bad the trails at QECP were after all the rain. Not too bad, just slightly slippy.

Still mach one down a steep trail always puts a smile on your face, no matter how the day prior to that has been.
