Bib shorts help

Post by Ben98 »

I'm looking for a pair of 3/4 bib shorts that will actually fit me. I'm 6ft 1" with a 32 inch waist and none of the shorts I look at seem to scale right for someone of my build. It seems as though I'm expected to be far larger than I am for my height. Anyone got any recommendations?
Many thanks
Ben

I like a bit of versatility in clothing, so I'm going to recommend getting some knee warmers instead.

Similarly shaped.

Endura tend to be ok - but the best fitting 3/4s I have are Castelli.

I'm 6ft and 30in waist. Often end up buying small bib-shorts. Usually fine, if a little shorter on the leg. Morvelo gear fits me well (in a medium). Really rate the pad they use and their 3/4s as well.

Comfort wise, Crikey, how much.

Can't help you with sizing though!

Try Pearl Izumi Attacks - I'm about your dimensions and size large fits well.http://www.fatbirds.co.uk/122026/produc ... GwodPV8IHg

All day comfort as well.

Same dimensions as you and the DHB bibs in medium fit me well. Bear in mind that bibs should feel tight when you're stood up straight, when you're in the saddle your body will be "shorter" and you shouldn't have a problem!

Yep, expensive but worth it. Best thing is that they are free returns so order in a few sizes and send back any you don't want once you've tried them.

If you can live with a bit of sky branding they've got 40% off.
