"same". Ahem, good point that man ;-). 176 miles it is then. Arg.

It's Friday night and I'm three pints of Whistable.. or possibly Whitstable... Ale to the wind already and not thinking straight. Or less straight than normal at any rate. Which isn't saying much at all.

Ben, Reg, yup. Plan starts there then. Woburn could be a good option, know a good off road link from Ivinghoe to there and a brewery is a clincher. Riding between both.. Big ideas!

Ohh dear that sounds ominously like a plan then! Um, sorry to be a Bear of little brain here, but this multi-site W-Bivi is a separate thing from the Winter Event in Jan then is it? Or is it? I wouldn't like to pass up the opportunity to get frozen and wet and lost and knackered and drunk and mechanicalled and hysterical and bollocks-talked and swept along by movements and countries and mazes and colours and dismays and rainbows and tunes and wishes and flight and fall and despairs and big seas of my dreams...

"Reg"

PS> Yeah, brewery optional ;-)

Yes, seperate things - seems a shame to limit the 'fun' to a single weekend

10/11 December best for me. Might even venture south for the shandy version.

I see there's talk of two separate outings for the December bivvy. Is there a traditional location for the northern one, or does that need suggesting/organising/etc?

There's usually a Welsh version with details cobbled together by me, a northern one in the hands of Chew and Ray takes care of things north of the border ... venues tend to change year by year but all take place (usually) over the same weekend.

There was a SW version last year too and hopefully the SE contingent will be able to put their lattes down for long enough to arrange something this year

 you're right!

I'm mainly an instant coffee drinker (micro ground style). If I'm feeling posh i'll break out the aeropress

Its fairly clear I'm no hipster!

Sounds good – I'll keep the weekend free (and pack the aeropress).
