the moon was pretty cool last night on the sea. Dont often get to sleep out above the cliffs. Used to be a regular haunt when i lived with the parents.

Apologies for the crap quality - I did actually try to buy an Olympus tg4 yesterday to replace the dead lumix but John Lewis were out of stock so phone camera it is

Many thanks to Greg May of this manor for his PM photo tips, because today saw first attempt at editing my DSLR photos in RAW and it came up with this one.

Its all about composition really, and each person is different. Look at your picture and see where your eye naturally ends up (same with Gregs)?

Agree, if the photo contains nothing worth looking at, no amount of developing will make it good.

Not saying that about yours John! Just a statement.

I have always found autumn colours to be the best, that is probably why I enjoy open Moors Valleys. This photo is from a day ride on the 20th may2016

Love the sycamore gap photos John, that would make a great bivvy spot at the end of a summers or winters day.
Have you ever taken a bike along the wall before?

Only my CX bike bivi'ing next to a Romania fort, I saw the tree from the road below it early the 2nd morning. It would make a great bivi spot with level ground down the hill to the south a bit and along the wall about 200 or so meters away to the west.
It is a footpath with lots of gates, and in this area it has a fair few steep steps sections so following this section of the wall is not really practicable.
I'll add a link in a while showing exactly the best way to get to the tree on a bike

Love your photos Daniel.

That bottom one is stunning and should be used to promote wild camping at its best.
