Bontrager OMW boots

Post by ScotRoutes »

I believe at least one of us has bought these. I am looking to do so too and was wondering how they size up? I'm 41 in most things but 42 in Shimano MW80s. I'm thinking 42 in OMWs too?

Wasn't me but in the spirit of helpfulness :) http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB ... 400#p74459

Size 2 up was the suggestion...

I changed my mind.
One size up and thin socks as the inner bootie should be plenty warm enough to not use a thick winter weight sock.
Unless it's silly cold, like -10 and lower.

Realistically I'm 41.5  but bought a 43. The 42 felt spur on with road summer socks, so with thicker merino socks, I opted for the 43 for a little extra space and it works fine. They are really comfortable off the bike, feel like slippers but are stiff enough for riding in (longest ride is 3.5 hours so far).

I really like them, seem well priced for what you get :-bd

£107 delivered from Mantel in Holland in 2 days.
I called them to ask about sizing and they were really helpful.
Fantastic service.
