Re: How to insert pictures
I've also had a few problems embedding picture from Flickr.
If I try to share from the Flickr app (android) the instruction make no sense as far, a getting the correct url code.
but if I go to Flickr.com the instructions make sense.

I like it, but it does still leave my motor and some wiring prone to splatter! I need to invent something for the rear I was thinking of using an old tyre. This project is turning into a rolling junk yard.

I added, a, section of old mudguard to the front, rivited on The donor SkS guards were good but in sat too high up. The soft lowerflap a bonus.
I made a rear guards out of LDPE sheet. It fits I. The rear triangle and is addition to the standard seatpost reguard. The LDPE is soft so it has reinforcement to make it more ridid & Shape it. I tried using hdpe but it was too noisy.

Re: How to insert pictures
Nope.
Looks like you are trying to link a picture on google images. That's tricky. Pretty sure there's some instructions somewhere on this thread.

Re: How to insert pictures
You've linked to the page that the image is on not the image itself. The image link needs to end in ".jpg" or other image file extension.

I use this website:
https://www.publicalbum.org/blog/embedd ... otos-image
Go to your picture in Google Photos, and use the Share Image function to create a link to it.
Copy the link into the above webpage, and it will generate a code. Copy this code, and add it to your post using the image function (adds
tags to your link).

I can see that. Bit confused by the blue stuff in the background, and the suspiciously high light levels mind you...

You just need to add the [ IMG ] tags for that to work. The Cumbrian wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 5:43 pm Test

Re: How to insert pictures
Click on the image icon above the text entry box - looks like a mountain with a sun/dot to the upper left. That gives you this:
[ img][ /img]
(I've added a space after the initial [ so the forum software doesn't mess with it)
Now put your image address inside the above pair of tags like.
[ img]https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/508 ... 54ae_z.jpg[ /img]
Which without the formatting spaces gives

Or should except dropping that image address into the browser bar gives a "can't be found" message
