Doing the Cairngorm Loop this year? Read this...

Post by ScotRoutes »

On 11th and 12th July this year, a group of horses (and riders!) will be taking part in a 100 mile endurance event between Glenmore and Glen Clova. As you might expect, it will use many of the same tracks as the Cairngorm Loop. I expect the softer tracks will be pretty much mince once this thing goes through (especially if it's a wet summer) and it will take a little while for the surfaces to settle down again.

You might want to make sure your plans avoid this particular weekend and the immediate aftermath
