Storing down

Post by u02sgb »

I know you're meant to store down somewhere warm to let it dry after you've used it.

Any ideas if it's a problem to store it in a warmer cupboard long term? I store my down sleeping bag in the cupboard with the boiler. It's pretty warm in there and I'm worried there's some kind of oil in the spines of the down that might dry out and get brittle.

Would be please to be told I'm being daft.

Stu.
