Hello,
I want to get a quilt in time for the Ford Fiesta as I hate being trapped in sleeping bags. I tend find I thrash about too much and I always get too hot.
Can anybody suggest a quilt that is lightweight and packs down well, but doesn't break the bank too much?
This one seems to be the best I have found so far, any thoughts on it?

many thanks

you could ask mat at UK Hammocks if he has anything in stock and ready to go, but it seems unlikely.

I like my new As Tucas Sestrals http://astucas.com/en/products/sestrals-quilt (the APEX 200 version). I've used it in my bivy with my Garmin 800 reading a minimum of -4.1 degrees (while sitting on top of a croc outside the bivy bag). I did have to add my Acclimatise fleece jacket to a light fleece jumper and thermal t-shirt when temp dropped below about -3. But I wasn't wearing thermal trousers or thick socks. I'm hoping that with some better thermals I can go below -5 and still be cozy.
