And brought me a rather nice Beer Babe mini-frame bag to fit on my Janis Dakar full sus. Rubbery, recycled inner tube goodness.

Bought the off the peg full suspension - large sized bag and it was a perfect fit

Bato saddle bag from AK (plus compass and whistle for the hill bag). Seems alright though the zip seem to need a "knack". Early days

a Mytimug!

Obviously now I need an X-mug to complete the collection

Along with my new Soto Amicus, that makes for a fully upgraded cookset. Looking forward to testing it out next weekend.

...and brought a rare shiny-bling-thing purchase (albeit second hand): Mt Zoom carbon layback seatpost.

Also, a pair of cheap Vittoria 32c gravel-ish tyres for the road-ish wheels
A new bobble hat, to ensure the weather continues as-is
Some straps and stuff

Proper bling.. Got a pic? Hows the quality (does it look/feel worthy of the hype)

Exposure Axis mk8 - got it discounted by £50 on CRC. initial beam test impressions are that it’s not nearly as bright as the Moon x-power 1300 it’s replacing (at double the price). Need to do a bit more testing to decide if it’s compactness is worth the extra expense.

'Fraid not, but it looks... like a seatpost  Seems very good quality, and of course, very light. But it is just a seatpost at the end of the day.

A BLackburn airstick SL because I wanted something teeny that'd fit in a wee saddlebag (earlier thread). I dread to think how much effort it'd take to get a tyre up to a rideable pressure but in theory I guess it would be able to

An Ergon SM Comp saddle for my Orbea. I tried one on my Henderson a while ago and have become a convert so decided to get one for my other bike. Hopefully it means no more numbness in the nether regions!

...busy this week:
He came with a sack of bread flour on Tuesday, and then came back on Wednesday with a parcel of smaller bags from the same order, which I would have ordered at the same time anyway, but which put me over the free delivery threshold :???:

Also that nice ton chap keeping me in trainers with a pair for on the bike (and probably off) and a pair for off the bike (and probably on). A pair of pairs then.

Today, a delivery from Escape Watersports, who someone linked somewhere (possibly on this very thread). I was looking for a pair of shorts to wear under my wetsuit for surfing, since I've always worn boardshorts, and it occurred to me that they're really not ideal being baggy. Found some which were a couple quid under the free delivery threshold so went rifling through the sale section and found a Gul Sailing "race suit" which is basically like a rash vest onesie for the bargain price of £7. Figured if I can get it on under my suit, it'll replace the shorts and be an extra layer up top which might boost the warmth of my suit a bit. If not, I'm sure a one-piece base layer will come in handy at some point  Only other issue is the fly opening, which is welcome, but I'm not sure will make it suitable for wearing on its own - I'll look a bit suspect as it is!

Wearing stuff under a wetsuit - weird  Commando is the answer

Postie - a fixed carbon joystick (carbon sleeve and metal parts had unbonded). Secondhand to me so not warrantied but only cost £14 which seemed OK. Suspect they've also given it a once over and re-charged.

:-bd I'm a K70 man myself. I noticed that Avon and Dunlop are claiming that the tread compounds have "been updated to modern standards" so will be interested to see how you get on with them. My mate Rick swears by them but he has had a fair few crashes over the years...
