Amongst other things, Tom Devines book on the Scottish Clearances. Amongst other things it adds to my understanding of the areas I tend to ride/run/hike through. I'll be reading it in short stints else my temper boils over.

Nice one, I was laid up after a hernia op a few years ago and made a few model kits, it was very enjoyable and took me back to my youth. 👍😎

Ooh that'll be a good read, doubtless will make my blood boil also (and I'm an incomer!) but been looking for a good account of the clearances for a while

Reading Alastair McIntosh's "Soil and Soul" at the moment. Excellent, if blood-boiling (and I'm English), read on a similar topic.
