Lovely. A nice evening's reading there. Which ones? I always enjoy re-reading Two Degrees West - he's practically a BBBer but without a bike for that one. Some marvellous anecdotes. I really must try kipping under a road overbridge one day - not. Not so keen on Clear Waters Rising. Obviously, though, our bible is JTTCOTE  .

Good call. Been meaning to buy some more of his books since I went to see him speak about his latest one in the autumn. Just hit eBay for a couple, on the way. Personally, Clear Waters Rising is one of my favourite books.

-The Atlas Mountains

Bought on a whim, so no idea what to expect

A rear light for project 'Death trap'. I'll french it in to the framework so it'll be largely unseen until it's on.

While out running some errands yesterday, I just happened to take a detour and found myself at Lidl. I left with a new Plasma cutter.

You impulse-buyer (*) you!

Two ancient OS maps to add to my collection, plus a rare 1983 vinyl LP 'Midnight Stars' by the Swedish instrumental group The Violents.

(*) or was it? "Just happened to be in Lidl" indeed - hah! Still, I did it with some reduced paprika Pringles (other excessively-fatty potato-based snacks are available) the other day. Hate the excess packaging, price and overprocessed extruded contents but I couldn't help it.

It was a crafty ploy Reg and I'd raided the dogs piggy bank the previous evening so knew exactly what I was doing.

A new Acepac bar roll bag and a couple of Voile straps from Stu. Perfect timing too. I was just deliberating on heading out for a ride into Dennis' baby teeth when the doorbell rang and I had an excuse to have more tea and play with the bag. Thanks fella.
