My cap arrived today too. My missus misread bearbones bikepacking as barebacking which I did point out was a different hobby entirely

A set of Tektro Draco brakes from Wiggle.

OK. They are blue and are set up "Euro".. but they were £11.99 an end.

They will go on The Onion, replacing the BB7s. If any wants a set of BB7s....

And brought ...

... my new Ding-Dong bell  It's a big 'un (as the actress said to the bishop).

To give you an idea of how big it actually is, here it is on my handlebar next to the etrex..

Not one for the weight-weenies then.. I thought to try it out in Wrexham town centre this morning, but like a lot of town centres nowadays, there was no-one to ding at. I dinged at the cars, birds and sheep on the way home instead.

Disappointing postman day today...
1)had to collect my new frame from the parcelforce depot in Basing-grad (1 hour return trip)
2)turns out the frame has been used and was missing a dropout, so it's going back.

Are they only 2 cross wheels? I guess with spokes like pencils flexing them under the third spoke when lacing would be a bit tricky  And a drum brake for added danger :-bd

I'll take those tyres off your hands then - looks like they'd fit my 26 rims and they're even more insane than my Swampthings.

... with my blinkin' replacement Joystick, of the Mk14 variety. Winter Event was just as expensive an outing as the Winter Bivvy. If I carry on BaMming like this I'll bankrupt meself trying to complete BaM-2020.

Odd how it’s not turned up, I definitely saw you with it at HQ.

Ta Steve. Probably been run over flat as a pancake in the car park, or in the back of Picton's motor with the glove that he thought was mine but was his after all  . I need to sit down and think what I can afford to lose on Feb's BaM. If I choose something cheap, then lose it on purpose, I might get off lightly. Still getting terrible flashbacks from last weekend's nightmare. Curiously they all make me laugh rather than cry :-bd .
