Don't they all head out on the same night? I remember walking up the road to the school bus one year and there were dozens of squashed ones
I predict that the same will happen on June 21st ;)

The postman has been and, coupled with the fact that it's raining, I now feel compelled to go looking for a puddle...

I loved that, I'll be grinning all day and probably every time I see a frog from now on

A pair of Lake MX145-X Wide boots, to hopefully finish my long search for a comfortable pair of boots.

Yes, I was left alone looking after our Birmingham branch today. Mostly read this blog :-bd

Highly recommend, much better than messing about with rigging equipment.

My 3 yearly set of prescription Oakleys turned up today. Fantastic glasses but sadly in 3 years they’ll be scratched to feck and replaced

I've been meaning to replace mine for about three years. I've already had them about eight and I've had to glue the lenses in as I snapped that wee bit that clips into the frame.

Bag from Velotastic :-bd Thanks for the tip off from mactheknife (I think) in another thread . Sells some lovey stuff, worth a look.

Was the Oveja Negra Lunchbox bag for the front, seems to be well made but time will tell. Did look at other brands but this was one of the few we’ll priced and could be used by itself or wrapped around a front harness system to create a pouch.

The streetshirts t shirt turned up, with a voucher. The fit is slimmer than I am used to.
I may get the voucher to get the next size up.
No side seams it feels good.
I won't pollute the site with more pictures of the same

Question :
Do they stretch with wear?
(or just relax the shrink back after washing)?
I hope you think you know, what I might of exactly meant.

I've not noticed that they shrink and I do find most T shirts 'give' a bit with wear.

...again, and brought me an ultralight titanium woodstove from Joe's shop :-bd It's completely unnecessary. When spring finally sprung the other day, I couldn't bear to spend any more time inside than necessary, so I took my gas stove outside and made a coffee. "How could I spend more time avoiding doing useful things?" I thought... "I know, I could do this by making a fire out of twigs instead" So that's what I'll do. Can't see me using on proper trips much, but you never know. Might at least revive the "breakfast with a view" thread.

A dry bag as well, but that's actually going to line a bag for storing bread in. So don't worry, no bikepacking will be involved

Maybe, if I can be bothered to find one, the postman might bring me a new GRX rear mech. Until then, it's bits to make weird sounds with...

Alternative method: Mike up a bothy (*). Stick ten bikepackers in one room for a long winter's night, door and windows tightly shut. Play the recording back next day.

(*) That's mike up a bothy rather than Mike up a bothy. Then again..... .

....yesterday, and brought me my 2nd streetshirts order, the one with the voucher:

I'll leave it with you to decide whether that makes me a) a show-off, b) boring, c) a traitor, d) indecisive (my personal favourite), or e) whether in fact it quite accurately reflects what happens on any good bikepacking outing.

And this, from e-bay at a faaaar lower price - an early birthday present (for me), so it's been checked and put away. Just because I really like it

I too messed about on the Z80 but have forgotten it all to high level languages. So am currently dabbling in Forth ;-)
