Collected an Exped Downmat Lite 5LW matress from Ultralight Outdoor Gear as I was in the area.
I went for the W(ide) because when I sleep on my back my elbows fall off the side of my Neo Air waking me up each time.

An accidental eBay win of a 29+ wheel. Dunno why I bought it as I don't really need a spare but hey...

A prototype, 3 mount Gorilla cage mounting adaptor has just arrived ... looks smashing and should be ideal for those without cage mounts on their forks.

Ah - I'd just received a reply to the email, that I'd sent to Parable, asking if they were going to make those (and they replied positively)

Glad to see that you're in the loop, and look forward to hearing your opinions.

It attaches with 4 cable ties ... they pull in opposing directions which is a nice touch. The rear is concave and has rubber pads to help prevent any slippage. So far, it's fitted every fork I've tried it on. I still need to try it properly but I have high hopes.

That looks neat. Have you just been trying it on round/oval type forks (i.e. most steel models) or carbon blade type ones as well?

That would be a touch dangerous wouldn't it? The angle would mean it might flip down and into the wheel. Although probably OK for something light

Forks at least at (mostly) vertical

Not tried it on monocoque type forks. I don't think it would fit straight on but I'm sure it would with a little padding to flatten the rear out.
