I've had gears on my bike for a few weeks and looks what's happened to me, I knew it was a slippery slope
After about 5 years of rigid riding (after reaching the pinnacle for me which was my Santacruz Superlight) I too am on that slippery slope of yours... Got some front forks on the Sonder and then riding with Karl and Mart I almost got convinced into grabbing a full sus myself (it'd hace to be a SC off course... Karl loves them  )... Still trying to resist but being slightly sort of (big) casg does help a bit...

Hope the Spearfish lasts you well and is plenty enjoyable... They both seem to love Karls

Brought me a pair of 26" Ice spikers for strathpuffer, and 2 tour of Yorkshire jerseys from the bargain thread.

Now to decide between tubes and trying to bodge them tubelessly onto old Mavic 521 rims...

Replacement Marmot Essence jacket, 49% off from Bikester.

Probably just in time for me to have another big prang on the ice. Mebbe I should get some of them there ^^^^^ spikers too  .

A Peak UK semi-dry top. 'Tis very bright green which might account for it being half price ... seems okay though and proves that there are benefits to colour blindness. :-bd

Some 3/4 waterproof Helter Skelters from Ground Effect in NZ. Brilliant service as only ordered a week ago. Very pleased with the fit and quality.

And delivered a set of curve Walmer bars as discussed on this thread
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=16002

First impressions are that they are going to be great, nice woodchipper like shallow drop and the sweep in the flat section feels really ergonomic. Just waiting for some other components to arrive before fitting as I don’t want to be wrapping them twice! As a bonus there was a freebie set of long bar tape included :-bd

Not the postman as such, but I visited a LBS and bought a Wahoo Elemnt bundle, my first bicycle GPS. If only picking bikepacking bags and cycling clothing was as easy...
