Think mine was about £35 and it even came with a 'free' 350ml Ti mug ... people spend that on a plastic water bottle if it's got the right name on

Yup... good price that there then (I looked at an Amazon one and it showed up as full price or thereabouts)... you must've gotten something like this. Interesting and one that I'll put on the cards for 'eventually' http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayIS ... spheader=1

Novel way of boiling a mug of water there R_C  Presumably some clingfilm stops the water falling out.

'World's Lightest Shelter Pole' (probably) :-bd . Very impressive I must say, and just in time for a Cannock test.

… and handed over a Mineral Designs Mini Bar Multitool.
No doubt it will eventually get used in anger but for now I am just caressing it and gazing at it in admiration.
Extravagant? Mmm... I don't think so. I just admire simple but effective engineering

Specialized Butcher Grid 2.8 (650b) for upfront duties with the Travis Prongs. Might make it for the rear aswell (currently a 2.5 inch 1500g WTB Convict) if it feels nice enough

Tis indeed Stu... but its got Gripton (is that the) extra sidewall protection and seems pretty knobbly and nice and strong hopefully. Its light than the Convict which is an Enduro tyre but highly rated and it does kind of bulldoze through things (the WTB)...

A couple of super light Hiplok security devices which I rate as they can double up as emergency straps

*shudders*

Good luck with them. I had to cut one of the keyed ones off as the mechanism had broken and know of two combination ones that have failed.
