Fun stuff: Big ride on Saturday and Monday but party on Sunday will probably reduce Mondays mileage ! Kite flying and hill walking with the kids at some point too.

Not so fun stuff: buying and fitting dishwasher and blinds.

taking the family down to Legoland for the weekend, kids are really looking for to it and if I'm honest so am I !

Fun place, that. But if you can stretch to it, get a fast pass (if that's what its called) to get through the queues quicker. We waited over an hour for one of the rides, which lasted all of 60 seconds.

Yep Tony, it looks a toughie. Just hoping the weather plays nice. 10mph ave doesn't seem to tough, but that will be affected by how much time I spend sitting in cafes and pubs enroute.

I had a Sheffield-Cleethorpes-sheffield road trip planned today. However, a combination of forgetting my tyre levers and a flat rear tyre meant a train ride home and a ride of 145km instead of 250km. I won't do that again, walking any distance in road shoes is miserable!

Poop. I used my QR's as tyre levers once but they were nice round and slim Campy ones so getting them under the bead wasnt too hard once I had pressed all the slack out of it.

I was down in cornwall camping with the family for the weekend. I must say, I'm glad I took my Voyager, not my Laser as I often do for weekend trips… it was wet to say the least and I was grateful for the extra space.

Enjoyed that Rich. Sounds as though you enjoyed what you managed, not always an easy decision to cut a ride short.

I finished the course of antibiotics I was on for my chest infection and did an easy 15 flattish miles offroad after almost no cycling for four weeks and felt good. Best get some miles in before The Shindig.
