Recently signed up to the forum so thought i'd introduce myself.

Live in the Wigan area & have been riding mountainbikes for several years. Dipped my toes in the world of bikepacking recently & enjoyed the experience!
Also know another member- John Climber, i think there are some pics on here of a mid-week bivi we did up Rivington Pike earlier this year..

Have a search for 'northern Christmas bivi' or maybe northern winter bivi. Might be a good chance to meet up with riders from the area.

Just had a look but i'm at a wedding the weekend of the 14th-15th Dec. Damm!
There seems to be a few options during this weekend too..

Will keep an eye out on the forum for something when i'm free.

Had a route planned in the Lakes out of Staveley which i'd already mentioned to JohnClimber if nothing else comes up.
Got a new (to me) sleeping bag that i want to try out, so hope to get out soon.
