Another shoes thread...

Post by restlessshawn »

SPD,
Fully Synthetic,
Not full of mesh,
Water resistant would be nice,
Don't look like disco slippers,
Can walk in them without my calves exploding or sounding like someone pretending to be a horse with 2 coconuts halves.

If they didn't cost a fortune and wouldn't look awful on my (ahem) road bike too that would be a plus.

Suggestions?

PS. Not made by Shimano because I fall between their sizing.

Don't even talk to me about cycling shoes. I have the most retarded Hobbit feet.
size 9 length size 99 width and the right one always hurts no matter what.
Um.....
I had some Lake ones once that were quite nice. Sidi cater for just about any size.
Got some shimano (yes I saw what you wrote) m088 45 wide fit for sale. Not wide enough
for me.
Know any cycling related foot specialists by any chance?

Gearne's as at page bottom?

Really quite chuffed with them, £70 iirc

The Gearne look good but 'natural nabuk' sounds like leather?

I've ordered a pair of these which I hope will be similar

No doubt the sizing will be mental like all bike shoes

You can pick up an even cheaper version without the BOA dial too.

I have a pair of Northwave Celsius for the winter which are vaguely exciting.
