Friday night kinda post, if you know what I mean?
WhatsApped a mate about a mini trip next weekend. Wrote down the route (about 24hrs of riding) then listed off the resupply points and water taps.
Hard won knowledge; cafe caravan in the woods, public toilet in the town, church with water tap...
I love this kinda stuff.
In other news, I bought my first Outdry Reign jacket this week. 50% off too! Opened the package, put it on, and immediately thought; hello friend, we're going to get on just fine. Thanks to you guys for banging on about it. My Endura MT500 was brilliant until it wasn't. DWR coating is a short lived love affair.
Local knowledge.

Re: Local knowledge.
Aye tis nice if you can sit back with a beer, your minds eye visualising a whole area of routes, planning which ones you are going to ride the next day. Speaking of which, I'm doing that just now
