Like a lanshan 1 but cheaper?

Post by RobLyon »

Hi all,

I know the lanshan is a knock off of a Lunar Solo but are people actually paying 150-180 now? I thought they used to be more like 70-80?

Is the item below similar to the lanshan but without the branding?

That's nothing like a Lunar Solo. For a start, it's double skin.

£113 on Amazon for similar
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultralight-3-S ... th=1&psc=1

I also think if you download the app, they’re giving you either £10 or 10% off your first app order, so that’s be closer to £100 for you

It appears that the ebay link is simply for a mesh inner ... no outer mentioned from what I can see. (I know there's a picture but I believe that is simply to demonstrate what it may look like in place)
May the bridges you burn light your way

No, that is the whole tent, outer and inner, although it's not a 3FUL branded one so I'm not sure if they are exactly the same, the zip on the inner looks different.

I bought a "4 season" 3FUL Lanshan 1 back in April from Camperlists for £119 + £5 postage, price seems to be the same now.

The tent linked to on eBay in the OP is nothing like a Lanshan though.

there is no mention of an outer and it comes in one bag and its says the material is mesh
I think that is inner only from the description

Its pretty hard to be certain and if i was buying i would ask them first

I've been using one of these:

River Country Products One Person Trekking Pole Tent, Ultralight Backpacking Tent https://amzn.eu/d/2AVkliN

Can't complain, light enough, pitches easily and quickly, stayed dry in the rain, lots of ventilation and huge porch area
