I'd not seen these before but came across them recently whilst idly perusing the Anfibio site. Only 180g:

I prefer the Valcko SPD Crocs personally...

Good call there, that monkey. My Hi-Tecs have just conked out so these may be worth a go. £32 in many places. 180g is a good weight. Given up with heavy boots these days - sandals and waterproof socks for me please.

I could see them being good for crossings, camp wear etc. Who doesn't love multi-use gear

Looks like they'll stop the occasionally excruciating stubbed-toe experience of bare-foot crossings but if they're like regular Crocs better be snug otherwise they'll float off in flowing water.

Perfect to dangle I reckon as well. I wonder if Stu would be alright with that :???:

I've used Tevas for short rides to the beach but like the idea of a toe box - spiky flats and exposed toes are not a good mix. I hate the look of regular crocs but these could work. If you're wearing sandals with socks then you've given up on dignity anyway.

I have a quiet internal dignity which transcends any concerns about external fripperies and 'fashion'

Quite happy to look like an arse so long as it's a warm dry arse

Ooopps. *looks at feet with sandals and socks on* looks like dignity has gone without me noticing

I've never understood why Crocs are so divisive to some people. They just strike me as eminently sensible and practical foam lumps to put on your feet in multiple situations and no more alarming or special than your average trainers, teva's, boots etc. Mleh :geek:

I mean it's not like they're Lauf forks

Just in case it wasn't obvious, my tongue was firmly in cheek

In my case I've got narrow feet so Crocs aren't so much slip on as slip off which is why I don't overly like them - very little to do with how they look. Having seen Rich3rd's Lauf forks in operation you very quickly stop noticing that they look a little quirky.

Edit: I know I'm contradicting myself but that was a whole hour or more earlier.
