Warped Mudhugger rear

Post by woodsmith »

Just received one of these from Tredz and its badly warped / twisted to the point that when the two seatstay "feet" are parallel, the end when viewed from the rear is at 45 degrees . Any way of sorting it out? Hot water? Hair dryer? Don't have a heat gun and would prefer not to go through the agro of visiting Asda to return it.

Dip it in a bath of very hot water?

Hair dryer will certainly do it. That's how how I got mine to fit my Fatbike.

Successfully sorted by heating with a hair dryer.
