processed food calories we will wear them, but real food will be burnt off... your recovering from injury & getting your exercise mojo back, so you will burn stuff off

So I'm not keto... I don't think.... I'm just low carb 20gm-70gm of carbper day. As such, I think my weight loss is from lack of snacking etc, as opposed to ketosis, fat burning etc. I'm also hitting the gym 4 times per week.
I've just remembered how lovely red wine is.
End of transmission...

Target - 72kg
8/1 - 77.1kg
14//1 - 76kg
21/1 - 75.8kg
28/1 - 75.1kg
4/2 - 75kg
18/2 - 75.2kg
25/2 - 74.3kg.

4/3 - 74.3kg. Had a birthday during the week so a week of having a meal out, takeaways and making my way through a sticky toffee pudding cake my daughter made. It's been hell😁. Fortunately, managed to stay the same so i'll take that.

Ootini - that is my strategy too. Just trying to avoid pigging out on snacks, especially during the week. A few treats and beers at the weekend. I'm careful at breakfast and lunch but then eat fairly normally at dinner. Just trying and watch portion sizes. Progress has been a little slower than I thought but I'm playing the long game, so no issue there. I've been consistantly training but very little biking. Now starting to try and pick that up too.

01.01.22 - 86.7kg

18.02.22 - 79.7kg
25.02.22 - 78.7kg
04.03.22 - 77.9kg
11.03.22 - 78.2kg

No surprises there. This week I’ve been off the programme since Sunday - child no.2 got COVID so I couldn’t go to work and do my 3 fasting days. Then child no.1 got it and then me.
Typically I’ve managed 2 years COVID free whilst working on an ICU and eventually get taken down in a blue on blue contact!
Suffice it to say I’ve been feeling utterly gash for a few days and snacking heavily.
Never mind. I have a good formula to follow when I’m well again, so I’ll continue on my present speed and course until I’m better.
Where’s the biscuits?
If you are going through hell, keep going.

15st 9lbs - I can't be arsed to convert to kg.

Just remember you're all beautiful and wonderful as you are and there's no need to lose anything unless it's for the right, reasonable reasons

Just started a keto diet (this afternoon obviously) after becoming convinced of its endurance/performance benefits from my running book. Hopefully I'll not be totally exhausted by eaying minimal carbs and maximal fats by this Friday and able to weigh myself. Plan is to ride to work on Wed or Thurs aswell so that should be interesting. Will also grab myself some ZamZam in the meanwhile in case I get bored of just drinking water...

I never thought I'd see myself on this thread having been mostly racing snake shaped most of my life,
but at 56yrs and 5 years post hip replacement I'm more draft-excluder snake that's swallowed a lounge chair, so here I am.
Mr's O started an 800cal diet in Jan which I go along with plus a portion of carbs +anything else I crave so managed to lose a couple of Kg without thinking about it,
but now I'm thinking about it and wanting to get down to draft-excluder snake minus the lounge chair midriff.

6'2", 56 yrs (height and age for context, cos why not?)
01/01 89Kg
15/03 86.6Kg

Target is 82Kg

Had a week off again. Sick with COVID still at the start of the week but have managed some light exercise in the past last couple of days.

After a few weeks of No Change, it's nice to report a wee loss today. It might not be much but I'm taking it as a sign!

It's also Spring in a couple of days and I'm hoping the warmer weather will help with the "keep moving" part of the equation.

7/1 - 75.4

28/01 - 75.5
