Well done on the no-offroading sign. I saw it on the way down and completely forgot to snap it on the way back.

Nice pics all!

Looks epic as usual!

Matt,

Just had a poke around your blog (nice write-up on the WRT) and have a non-WRT question for you...

What's that chain device you're using in the photos from the WRT (the one with your newly located rear mech) as I've been running a JumpStop but it only really helps with the chain jumping in one direction and the one you're sporting looks perfect for my needs.

Cheers, Gairy.

Neil, would you be able to send me the picture of myself (yellow jacket, orange and white bike) please?
I stupidly forgot the camera, so have virtually no record of my trip :'(
Thanks

Gairy, it looks very much like a Paul's Chain Keeper. Very good they are too, Bricklane Bikes is the only non US stockist I could find when I bought mine.

Some absolutely stunning pics, sadly it's another year I've missed

Gairy: yes it's a Paul's Chain Keeper. It works very well and easy to switch on and off the bike. www.freshtripe.co.uk are another UK stockist but they often don't have stock in and it can take a while for orders to come through. I needed mine in a rush this time last year so ended up ordering it direct from Paul's. Speedy delivery but I got properly stung on customs...

I got mine from Aspire Velo in the US. It arrived in 3 or 4 days and didn't attract any unwanted attention ;)

Hi Neil

Some great pics, good to share the last few miles with you. I shall think about sleeping behind toilets now with a whole new light :D

Think we timed it just right on the Monday, lovely tea and cake.

Cheers-o

Nice. Interested to read your plans for a round the world trip... I'm taking a 'sabbatical' next year to go on a long ride... Haven't quite worked out of its a round the world one or something slightly different. When do you leave?

Hi, no fixed date yet, my surly troll frame set arrives at the end of the month so when that's built and the funds are raised. Realistically two years I guess! Is your troll going to be for your trip?
