anyone into malt ?

i have inherited a bottle of Royal Caledonian Curling Club 10yr Speyside malt.

and i dont know what to do with it.

Drink it?

Bring it back to Speyside with you and try curling at the new rink in Aviemore?

Looks like it's worth between £17 and £23 going by auction sites.

i wont drink it, i have about 5 bottles on the go at present. cant seem to sup much these days.

I'll have it if it's easy to get it to me. If there's someone closer who would appreciate it then crack on. It's my birthday next month so I might expect a couple 😀

Concentrated malt liquor

Anyone else heard of this?
Mix a glug with lemonade to make a "Sheffield"
I used to drink this when I was somewhat younger.

On the subject of malt (whisky) I tried the Lidl £15 Islay stuff at the weekend and to my uneducated palate it's very nice indeed. Maybe this should go in the bargains thread. :geek:

BTW arkay the lidl or aldi I forget queen margot 3 year old is less than a tenner and quite nice tbh

I do like a small dram and definitely agree that the Lidl stuff is pretty good for the price. Tasted it at the highland show a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised so now it’s the bottle for guests and bivy nights.
