Good article that! Covers all the key points and highlights the huge complexities involved. It really shows that the carbon problem is systemic, and needs massive change to achieve the desired reductions in carbon.
Interesting figures on e-bikes and the carbon payback period for some bikes (assuming it replaces a car journey, which mtbs frequently don't if you drive to a trail centre).
Also not surprisingly - buying an electric car doesn't make you suddenly 'green', especially if it's an SUV!
