Exposure stem mount Q

Post by benp1 »

Trying to mount my light centrally on the bars on my new bike. The Jones loops I have on my rigid bike would make this much easier :grin:

I have a bar extender on my gravel bike but I'm trying to avoid putting one on this bike, they're not pretty. Can anyone with one of these please measure the length of the arm? From the nearest point on the trapezoid mount to the stem plate. Not sure if it will be long enough to not foul my stem cap mounted Garmin

Not sure I've understood but I'm getting ~35mm. Cleat interface is perpendicular to the stem mount in the photo.

I've got mine mounted on the bottom of the stem plate so the light is upside down.

@atk - that's perfect, thank you

@taylor - don't think that's going to work for me (although I'll still give it a go...!), I've got a rats nest of cables due to remote suspension lockout and I think i'll be in the way, plus would then be harder to mount my bar harness
