85 miles.
13/14 CP's

Sometime on Sunday I shall be passing through the Nant Yr Arian area.
Not sure if the Cafe is on the agenda though. Could be.

Draft route done. Similar distance to Mr Flatfish, 12 out of the 14 GR's and 2 potential Bothies for each night.

Will probably be at the Nant Yr Arian cafe at some point on day 2. Just need to see if i can find an offroad option between Aber and the Cafe

Dash4it mailshot just in says you can get a further 5% off OS maps using the code MAPS35. 213/214/215 wasn't it?

ERM........ Realised my intentions far outweigh my abilities! So I now need to revisit my route I reckon I'll be lucky to cover 30 miles during the two days!

Just had a bash at this, 13 checkpoints 88.2 miles

I'm sure I'll be stuck in a bog within an hour of the start like last year and start replanning on the go!

Plotted a route that takes in 12 out of 14 points... No idea how far yet, as I drew the route on my map. Will probably transpose route onto BikeHike or similar to see how far it is. Though, thinking about it, that may put me off!

Just in it for the ride. Never done it before so really looking forward to having a go.

Bit nervous if I am honest though...

At this rate I will be working out my route on the start line

Not that I am biased as a resident of Borth, but I think that the lite version looks a really good ride. If I was doing it I'd bivy in the oak woodland around SN637880.

Hmm... 61 miles taking in 12 checkpoints...

OS Getamap says you can ride it in 10 hours!

Ha ha...

Looking forward to this now. Better test my gear before the Bank Holiday weekend methinks...

OK, now I am concerned... I am doing the full version, taking in 12 checkpoints. But, my route seems at least 20 miles shorter than others stated here...

Having said that, I am only getting the distance from the OS web site...

Oh well, it should be a good laugh!

WIll just check my route to see how near we will be to some evening refreshment stops!

Just remember, the shortest route isn't always the best.

11 checkpoints around 66 miles (with a couple of options)

I've been a bit more cautious than last year as I didn't get anywhere as far as I'd hoped. I've taken a lot more consideration of contours and paths.

if all goes to plan it'll include a Saturday pm pub stop and then in the vicinity of the bothy (but by the sounds of it they'll be no room at the inn!) sunday will hopefully see lunch at nant-yr-arian

Having said that I fully expect everything to go wrong and me returning to Stu on Tuesday evening !
Wait for me...

I have revised this as I realized there was not a lot of single track on it, now 98 miles but with bail out options.
