Yeah but I can never work out whether it's a cake or a biscuit.

Gotta be a biscuit, but saying that my mrs makes a wicked RR tray bake which is certainly leaning more towards cake

Interesting fork.
Described as 'Selcof Carbon 27.5+ / 29er 3 Bolt Fork / Matt Black' but nothing on PX matches that description.
Is it only available as part of a build?
Zazen - nothing happens next this is it.

I've got the same fork on my Silk Road. Looks to be same as the fork they put on their carbon Whippet but with triple bosses. Ive found that the face of the fork that the bosses are mounted on is angled "inwards" which potentially means bigger cages might foul the spokes, or the post-mount brake.

I kind of knew this version was coming, as Guy Kesteven did a short review of this on Youtube a month or so back, alongside the Silk Road. At the time PX couldn't say when they were due in. Feel a bit sick the Rocky Road is so much cheaper! Am telling myself mine has the higher end groupset, lighter frame and (apparently) lifetime frame warranty...also got a discount. Still, a lot cheaper

Fork clearance seems massive BTW, room for a 3" tyre upfront I reckon

Are these new PX frames designed by Mike Sanderson, ex Calibre bikes...?
There are theories at the bottom of my jargon.

That is a hell of a lot of bike for the money- though its also not go the wheels described in the description so the usual Planet X attention to detail

Is it bad to say that I'd be more interested if it was a white label bike i.e. no brand on it at all

A bit of Scotchbrite tape and a couple of hours and it could be.

TBH the current Ti decals and branding is pretty subtle, you'd hardly notice.

Thought TBH in this situation I think the adage - "You don't look at the mantlepiece whilst you're poking the fire" applies
