Bank Holiday ... what you doing?

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

So, Bank Holiday weekend, forecast looks like it might even be dry ... what have you got planned ? I've a weekend of coaching/guiding 16 novice, women mountain bikers, while still nursing my poorly knee

We are finishing off our bike packing trip of the Southern Upland Way - Moffat to Cocksburnpath path. Looks like there will be a nice South Westerly wind pushing us along too :D

Nice gig!!!
Trust me, it's tougher than it sounds. You'd think it'd be fairly straight forward but so far I've had to service/set up 16 bikes, drive one of their cars (because it had a caravan on the back), set up said caravan, wade through mountains (I kid you not) of food and wine just to get to the stove in the bunkhouse (they're not really sure how to put wood on it) and tonight I have to mend one of their cars

But are they hot?
I think the answer to that might depend on your age. I'd say that some of the women present are very attractive but I'm ten years older than you ;)

Oh Stu you silver tongued devil ;)

Digging a mates garden entertaining youngest whilst eldest has a mini birthday party and then to Harry Potter land. Riding opportunities are slight. Maybe something short and swift Sunday morning.

The missus has buggered her back so no SS champs for me this year. Spent today cleaning the chimney and camping in the garden tonight with the little one.

Probably tootle over to the Green Man Festival in Shropshire on Monday. Sadly, no monkeying around on bikes this weekend
I’ve been abart a bit
