Acepac heads-up

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

I know a few folk were waiting for the Acepac harnesses to reappear, well they're back in stock. Fronts £34.99, rear £39.99.

The dimmensions given for the tapered dry bags, is that for when full with the closure rolled 3 times, or when empty and laid flat?

Stu, could you do me a favour and measure the gap between the bar mounts. While I’m currently fitting my gear in that accessory pouch and a little 5ltr seat pack I’ve got something planned where I might need a little more room.
We’re all individuals, except me.

I woke up this morning but I’m still in the dark

Mine arrived today, thanks Stu. Wrapped in a bin liner 😆

Took me a while to work out how to fit the pouch. Profusion of straps 🤪

Quite cunning though, those arrowhead fittings.

For anyone else looking to attach bar bag to harness, here's a clue.

I also took the central strap off the harness when fitting the pouch. The pouch has a hook to go on the underside of the harness. Its nifty when you get it set up ). Whilst working it out I created several dog's dinners 😅

Is it important to get the dry bag along with the handlebar harness, for a proper fit? I've loads of other dry bags already

No not really. It'll happily accept any dry bag within reason.

My stuff came today (bar harness and dry bags, front gravelwanker bag thing and a seat holster (to use with the Revelate Terrapin dry bags that I already have). I have to say that I'm really impressed and happy with all of the stuff I got.

Received handlebar harness today in the ubiquitous black bin liner. Very impressed and should work nicely with my Wildcat drybag.

Cheers Stuart.
