This is definitely our experience as we see people using shorter and shorter stems. It's still not something that would put me off but I'd suggest just checking where the rub points are more likely to happen and take any precautions (eg protective tape).

Both my revelate harness and salsa anything cradle work very nicely on loops

Triglav Packman already has front loops that play nicely with the Jones bar:
