I've just gone for an SP hub. but I bought as a wheel from keep pedalling.
I've certainly heard the stories of them breaking but then, I've broke plenty things people tell me wont break and had things last ages people tell me will break...
The SP is a much cheaper way to see if I like the Dyno thing than a Son.
Shimano one wasn't on my radar, dunno if it comes in a boost.
