Press stud ... plenty on ebay. I'm sure a local seamstress could sort it out.

I bought a kit from Ebay ages ago and loads of my kit sprouted press studs. I then made the same mistake with an eyelet kit. I've got some of the best ventilated hats in England.

Thanks chaps. I'll get on it (hopefully no more will come off and it was just me being a bit too harsh with my feet)...

I find it's best to 'break the seal' between the 2 halves with a nail* first Shaf. Simply pulling them directly apart can easily rip them out of the material.

Funny you should say that. Chap I bought it off (Hammock Gear quilt) was explaining how I need to really baby it and use nails to undo the poppets. Also - he was a bit OCD - how to be super gentle when squishing it for packing. Had some really expensive quilts and bags which he demonstrated to me (220g cumulus bag!)

Hehe. Yeah, I kinda did and was careful undoing em. It actually popped off when I was lying down in the quilt Stu. Think I must have shuffled a bit too muchBearbonesnorm wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 9:17 amShould have listened more carefullyunny you should say that.
