I looks like he was going the wrong way and headed towards Rosehall and has now turned back?

Glad Mart is back on track - I kind of thought the last 3 would be finishing together but they are making their own way back.

This will be a race that there will be some good writeups from I suspect!

Fantastic riding from Steve Waters, well over a day faster than his 2019 ITT. :-bd

Some awful news for the late finishers...

The Gorse Bush cafe in Kinlochewe had to close for essential gas repairs today (there is an alternative round the corner).

That may have done for Chris Johnstone? He seems to be heading out of Kinlochewe on the road East.

Anyone who stopped in Fort William might want to consider a Covid test.

Thanks so much for this... I'm gonna run a tiny little charity event soon with 6 lads (fundraising for the hunger crisis Yemen and one chap for orphans as a result of the Syria war) so trying to ensure I keep it as cl3an and safe as possible.

Hopefully all the folks that went into that store from the riders would have worn masks. Thankfully confirmed cases from outdoors is very very rare or nonexistant (based on what one of the professors at Edingburgh Uni reported/said).

A good eye opener and reminder for us all to continue being uber responsible (like Regs outdoor public house idea etc etc)...

Yep.

TBH I always wondered about the Whistle Stop as a name. It's not like there's ever been a train to Kinlochewe :-)

Blimey - the HT on Bike Radar, whatever next. Pity (but typical) about the 'race' references.....

That's what I was thinking. Soon they'll have Stu up there with his smile and everything. They've obviously got struggles in the sales/hits dept?

Yeah, was on prime time news in Switzerland lately. Reporting about the HT550 really must boost the viewers/readers numbers.

Everytime you use #HT550, you get 1k more followers.
