Chairs (sorry)

Post by Tomwoodbury »

Tempted by these knock off Helios chairs on Amazon for when we bike camp with the kids.

Any reason why it’s worth paying 60% more for the genuine article?

I've had a cheapo version for 4 years, it still works perfectly, my fiend had one too but he is a slightly fuller figure than me and his broke, I'm 75kg.
What's the worst than can happen?

My Helinox Chair Zero is still with me after a few years coping with my lardy arse. They're allegedly ok to take 120kg, and Im not quite there yet. Great product but stupid expensive, and I'd probably have got for a knock off if I'd known about them when I was buying.
I'm just going outside ...

I’ve also got a cheap one from Amazon, think it weighs about 800g.

Only issue I’ve had is the zip on the carry bag is cheap rubbish and failed
